We understand that making the wrong hire can be disastrous for teams and businesses. At The Ethical Recruiting Company, we focus on quality over quantity at all times to ensure that it’s a good fit for both sides of the equation. Just as we take the time to assess our candidates, we also take the time to assess you.

We will ask some in-depth questions and survey all levels of employee to make sure you’re a good fit for our network, and in return you save money with a placement fee that is lower than the industry standard. You save money, and you can advertise that you’ve been vetted by a third party for exceptional commitment to your employees.


Why should You trust Us with Your search?

Well, admittedly we might be a little biased, but there are a few things that we think give us an edge. 

First, we have the experience. Our team has successfully placed hundreds of candidates at various employers across several industries. Whether it’s healthcare, tech, business operations, or sales – we have probably done it. And, if we haven’t, we have the tools to succeed and are firm believers that people rise to the occasion when presented with a challenge. 

Second, and quite simply, there’s no shortage of recruiting companies out there. But where we have them beat is how much we care about our candidates - and that translates directly to you. We are candidate advocates first and foremost who believe in quality across the board. We have a vested interest in making sure the fit is right on both sides. And let’s be honest: no one wants to rework something to death. 

Lastly, our pricing structure is proof that profit is not our primary motive. We believe clients and candidates are happier if we treat the process with more care and attention, and put less focus on quantity. 

What is Our assessment?

Essentially, we believe in quality on both sides of the interview table. Making a bad hire is awful for a team, but it’s arguably worse for the new hire who put their livelihood on the line. They are taking a chance on you, and us, and we want to be as transparent as we can be. 

We look at readily available criteria like layoff history, average pay for the area in which employees live, social impact, and we also take time to speak to actual employees to see how they feel about you as an employer (no, you can’t get access to that information; yes, we are serious). 

Most of this is done during the initial intake meeting where we learn more about your needs, and that’s all we need to get started. The assessment will not impede our ability to find you a candidate quickly. 

Why should You do it?

Well, why not? Most of this information is public anyway, you can find tons of reviews online on various sites, but those reviews are commonly outliers. Don’t you want potential hires to hear from real employees, and don’t you as a company want to improve for the sake of your team? This helps you do that. 

If you pass our assessment, you can market yourself as being an ERC Certified company - meaning you have been vetted independently, and that a third party has determined that you have an exceptional commitment to your employees

What are our rates?

The rate you receive is directly tied to the assessment, so we can’t give that to you beforehand. Basically, we want to reward employers who treat their people well - so the better you are to your people, the more money you save.
